Welcome to Bishan Church, Friends!
A Refuge called out from the world!
In the Bishan church of Christ, we aspire to provide refuge and to strengthen each and everyone in their journey home to God. Sunday is our refuge from the world and it is a blessing to be recharged by His Word and each other’s fellowship.
The early church was simple and we want to return to that. The world and temptations drain us spiritually. The church should not.
9.30-10.30 am Bible classes
Purpose: Opportunity for all to search study and discuss the bible. All including visitors are encouraged to participate in the discussion. Led by mature men of the church
10.45 am- noon Worship
Purpose: To praise God and to edify one another
The worship has 4 areas which may be interspersed with reading of the Word or prayer.
The four main areas are:
1) singing
2) edification
3) breaking of bread and
4) prayer of the church.
The worship is led by dedicated men of Bishan church. The women (1Tim.2:12) and visitors are silent in teaching except for, congregational singing and when they are invited by the leading men to request for songs or prayer.
Please note that there is no discussion during worship. If you have any questions, we will be most happy to address them after the worship.
