Maybe I do not fear God…….
When I choose men to shepherd the church I look for their secular qualifications, skills, presentation, charisma
…….maybe I do not gear God enough
Exodus 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
There is wickedness among us…… maybe we do not fear God enough
Deuteronomy 13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
Deuteronomy 19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
We have the latest improvements in church, preach the latest best sellers, we are change agents..maybe we do not fear God enough
Deuteronomy 17:13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
I have a lot of bible study yet I do not know the Lord…maybe I do not fear God enough
Psalms 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Proverbs 2:5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Isaiah 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
I am always stressed, worried, afraid of this and that, fearful of the unknown. I am kiasu, kiasi ….maybe I do not fear God enough
Psalms 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Psalms 34:9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
Psalms 119:38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
God does not seem to grant the desire of my heart………maybe I do not fear God enough
Psalms 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Ecclesiastes 5:7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.
I do not think that it is every Christian’s responsibility to share the gospel…….maybe I do not fear God enough
Amos 3:8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
My congregation is not growing in faith and numbers……maybe we do not fear God enough.

I have no guilt when I indulged in pornography and accept lewdness , nakedness in the media as part of life and artistic expression…maybe I do not fear God enough.

I do not see why I should submit to my boss and I do what I like when he is not around…..maybe I do not fear God enough

I will miss worship this Sunday because I have lots of work to do and I have an exam next week. I am afraid of my boss and failure ……maybe I do not fear God enough.

I do not see a need to know how to share the gospel or take notes because it is someone else’s responsibility.
….maybe I do not fear God enough.

I am not sure whether I will be in heaven……maybe I do not fear God enough
